人生不能被动，生活需要主动

从这次做的广告想到... 人生不能被动，生活需要主动。 只有主动，才能不断地获得上进的机遇；只有主动，才能超越别人；只有主动，才能“稳操胜劵”。主动，就是从时间上超前一步，八点钟要赶到的，你不妨七点五十分就赶到，这样你就不用担心搭不上车。主动，就是范围上扩大一些，要你了解衬衫的，你不妨顺便了解一下西装，领带以及鞋子和帽子，这样，你的视野就会更加开阔，你的回旋余地也就可能更大。 主动，就要从程度上再加深一层，要求知道是什么颜色的，你就不妨深入地再想一想：为什么是这样的颜色？能不能换成其它颜色？主动，从动作和态度上力求积极一点，敏锐一点。当别人尚未意识到时，你已经强烈地意识到了；当别人刚起步时，你已经走在途中了；当别人正想找你时，你已经敲门进去了。 就如我们的小屋，如果每人都把大门紧紧地关上，谁又能有机会去结识朋友呢？试想，如果我们主动敲开了一扇紧闭的门，朋友是怎样的心情，激动，温馨，幸福和喜悦。接下来是轻松而愉快的聊天，留言及问候。再等大家都熟悉之后，就不再总是关着门了，交往也因之而随意了很多，只要门开着，就进去说说话，主人不在家时，就留言问候，忧郁时都会变得快乐。 如果每个人都在等待，等待对方先主动敲门问候，呵呵！这不定成什么样子呢？ 你等别人，别人也在等你，当你闲聊时问及朋友为什么不留言给你？朋友大笑，你不也没给我先留言吗？ 呵呵！原来如此，交往中，别人的反应是一面镜子，反射了我们的行为，责备别人冷淡，其实是自己的态度吓退了别人。很多时候，都是自己把门关上了，别人才同样关上了门。 打开门很容易，一个微笑，一句招呼已足够了，轻轻地传递了友好的信息，表达了渴望沟通的心愿。敲开一扇门需要勇气，留一扇开着的门需要的则是坦诚。

Twitcher

Me and my mates have been missing from all the night-life clubbing lately. The combinations of no smoking in bar/club and strict drink-driving enforcement have grounded many twitchers. Suddenly, long breakfast chats under the morning sun becomes the norm, much to the delight of those at home. It's a good thing, isn't it? Bye-bye birds....!

I read on newspapers' reporting what Malaysia PM AAB said about his second marriage to Jeanne Danker (not the bedroom voice Class 95 DJ), his housekeeper and first wife's ex-sister in law...

Asked to comment about his love for his late wife as compared to his future wife, he said: "My love for Endon will remain as strong as ever. Then, I fell for this one. I believe God has created in your heart many spaces for different people that you can love as much as you want. “You can love your wife. You can love your mother. But you never compare. How can you compare your love for your mother and the love for your wife? God has created the capacity for us to love and to develop relations. That's important."

Holiday

Excellent weather on beautiful private beach at Awana Kijal. Nice, ehh??!

Awana Kijal

By lunch time, i should arriving Awana Kijal for a short holiday. This would be my first visit to Terengganu. Hopefully, the weather will be fair as forecast by the Malaysian Meteorological Department.

Anyways, I'll be driving through the East Coast route starting from JB - Kota Tinggi - Kuantan - Kijal.

Will keep all posted on my trip.

Banned stuff

Funny how people like to dig for juicy news and banned stuff. The other day, DC ask me to search for this book, "May 13: Declassified Documents on the Malaysian Riots of 1969" For those uninitiated, the book is officially banned on 18 May 2007. There, many are starting to take interests due to the ban and hype that follows. True to my suspicions, it's not available in my regular book store and upon further checks, unlikely to be available anytime soon. My mate SK in KL who is very much reformed nowadays said, "why wanna read ugly past n negative...moving on to new chapter la... so many more new things to read leh...try this book "The Secret" by some motivational lady...hit in Kl now...also 'the secret of millionaire mind'...very positive..:)" So, there we are. Positive thinking saves the day.

A new beginning...

Ha! Here's a new chapter. This could be a new challenge to see how long I could keep up with this renewed interest in blogging. Told a new blog mate earlier, it's much like keeping interests after an ejaculation, not entirely impossible but won't be easy every time. However, that was a different story.
